Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about choosing and installing your new internal doors.

What is the standard lead time for delivery?

Most of our internal doors are delivered within 3 to 7 working days. For bespoke or made-to-order items, the delivery timeline typically ranges from 4 to 6 weeks depending on the complexity of the design.

Can I trim my internal doors to fit a specific frame size?

Yes, most of our solid wood and engineered timber doors can be trimmed. We generally recommend a maximum of 6mm to 10mm from each edge, but please check the specific manufacturer guidelines included with your door to avoid voiding the warranty.

Are door handles and hinges included in the price?

Unless specified as a 'door set' or 'pre-hung kit', our doors are sold as individual leaves. This allows you the flexibility to choose your own hardware, handles, and hinges to match your home's decor.

What is your return policy if I change my mind?

We offer a 14-day return period for all standard-sized stock items, provided they have not been hung, cut, or finished. Please note that bespoke or custom-made doors are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or faulty.

What is the difference between a solid core and a hollow core door?

Solid core doors offer superior sound insulation, thermal efficiency, and a weightier feel similar to solid wood. Hollow core doors are a cost-effective, lightweight alternative ideal for low-traffic areas where soundproofing is less of a priority.

Do your doors come pre-finished or unfinished?

We offer both options. Pre-finished doors are ready to hang immediately, while unfinished doors allow you to apply your own paint, stain, or wax to achieve a specific aesthetic.
